7. Community and Support Matter

Individual sport or not lifting requires a solid support network with a gym partner or trainer and virtual connections as well as someone who supports and understands your efforts. Your support network empowers you during motivation deficits as well as prevents ego from taking control.

8. Balance is Real Strength

During my start I misunderstood being hardcore as a practice of severing everything else from social entertainment and flexibility. The realization came to me that maintaining balance proves not to be a sign of weakness rather than an essential method for sustainable results.
